I graduated from Bell Gardens High School in 2001 and enlisted in the United States Navy upon graduating high school. I proudly served for four years as a Plane Captain and Petty Officer 3rd class as a Logistics Specialist.

I was awarded Plane Captain of the quarter and sailor of the month. My awards also include: the Navy and Marine Corps achievement medals, Navy Unit commendation, good conduct medal, Armed forces expeditionary medal, Global War on Terrorism expeditionary medal, Global War on Terrorism service medal and sea service deployment medal.

Since leaving the Navy, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences Spanish from San Diego State University. Currently, I live in Downey with my husband and 2 children. I am an online fitness coach through Beachbody, were I help, support and motivate other moms/women to be healthy and fit. I am also the female veteran ambassador and volunteer for Courage Forward, an organization of veterans who offers support network for veterans and mentorship to the youth in our community.
